  • Once completed, you can sing and heal with the confidence that you have an internationally recognized certification to do so anywhere in the world
  • We accept students from over 42 countries
  • We support, mentor, and welcome you to the teaching community forever after the day you walk away

Seats are limited, so no group gets too large, every student gets real, individual attention. The focus is on you, and what you will walk away with is confidence, not just a certificate. If you are thinking about turning healing into a professional career, this is the place to commit to that decision and come along with us.

Empower Your Future: International Accredited Diploma in Sound Healing

Our accrediting bodies: All YogShri Healing certifications are supported by recognized global bodies, like IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine), YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), and ICAHP

  • IPHM sets standards for holistic and complementary therapy practitioners worldwide, meaning you are evaluated against standards used across dozens of countries
  • If you already hold a yoga teaching qualification, YACEP hours count toward your Yoga Alliance continuing education
  • ICAHP places special emphasis on strengthening research and education in sound therapy, adding academic credibility beyond a simple workshop certificate slip

Global recognition: This is not just a certificate with a badge. Your training is checked against real standards for curriculum, hours, and school quality by organizations built for exactly this purpose, so when a client, employer, or wellness studio looks at your credentials, they are looking at something verified, not an assumption

What this means for your career: this means real and practical doors for you. There are international directories that allow practitioners to be registered. As long as the certificate is not questioned, lessons and sessions may be taught and held in most countries. For those who have a yoga or wellness practice, your ongoing yoga and wellness education through YACEP maintains your existing credentials. And when the time comes to transition from practice to teaching others, an internationally recognized foundation will facilitate the next step and make it more easily accepted by future students

Only Institute with Proprietary EEG STRESS MARKER TECHNOLOGY

Most people learn sound healing by listening, practicing, and trusting what they feel. That’s still an important part of becoming a practitioner. But after teaching students from around the world, we’ve noticed the same question comes up again and again: “How do I know if my session is creating the response I intended?” That’s exactly why we introduced our proprietary EEG Stress Marker Technology into selected training experiences.

Learn by Observing the Difference

Watching someone relax during a session tells you one part of the story. Seeing stress-related physiological responses alongside your practical training adds another layer of understanding. As you work with Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and gongs, you’ll explore how subtle changes in rhythm, pacing, and technique can shape the overall experience. Those are insights that usually take years to develop.

A Learning Experience Few Institutes Offer

We’ve never believed technology should replace ancient wisdom. It should help students understand it more deeply. By combining traditional Himalayan sound healing with EEG-based learning, you’ll graduate with stronger practical skills, thoughtful observation, and greater confidence in your sessions. It’s a different way of learning—one that prepares you to serve modern wellness clients while staying rooted in authentic tradition.

What Your Certification Includes

  • YogShri Healing has been training students within the spiritual heart of Rishikesh for years
  • Built on one simple mission: teach sound healing the right way, at the right level, not fast cuts
  • Combines the world’s best ancient Himalayan knowledge with methods that actually work
  • All lessons are practical and never taken verbatim from a textbook, so students leave with skills, not just papers
  • Thousands of people have been guided by our founder, YogShri, into becoming confident healers personally
  • Learning about sound healing cannot compare to actually practicing it, all diploma training is hands-on
  • Singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks are used directly, step by step, and expertly taught
  • Batches are kept small on purpose, because sound healing needs close attention to posture, technique, and timing
  • A low student-to-teacher ratio means faster response to questions, quicker error correction, and growing confidence with every session
  • Internationally accredited, as your certificate holds value both in your home country and abroad
  • Alumni education never ends: ongoing career guidance through one-on-one sessions and group career sound baths
  • Support staff remain available after the course to answer any questions
  • Templates, session structures, and marketing tips to help you start your practice with a clear direction, not a guessing game

Students have come from 42 countries and have put into the hands of YogShri Healing their faith in beginning their healing journey here, and it is not taken, it has been earned. They choose us because our lessons do not get chaotic, our classes are still small, and we always offer assistance. Over half of them come with no prior expertise and find themselves as skilled practitioners able to help others. It is by word of mouth from former students that we continue to get new students,  become part of this expanding international movement, and begin to learn sound healing in the right way.

Sound Healing Training

Why Our Diploma Is Different

  • Our teaching approach: Goes well beyond memorizing instrument names and basic techniques, focusing instead on a true understanding of why and how sound healing actually works. Every module combines clear theory with honest thinking behind each exercise, and instructors encourage questions rather than passive listening, so you can tailor sessions to different clients rather than following a fixed script
  • Research-backed curriculum: We stay current on sound and relaxation research and fold in relevant, honest findings where they apply to practice. We teach what current research supports and where its gaps are, rather than repeating old claims without proof, so you can speak about sound healing responsibly and confidently from day one
  • Practice-first learning: Practical, repeated practice sits at the center of this diploma, since real skill only develops through consistent, guided hands-on sessions. You will work directly with singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks every day, receiving live correction rather than watching demonstrations, so you graduate genuinely confident, not just theoretically informed
  • Support throughout your training: Support does not end when the training does. Our team stays available to answer questions, troubleshoot tricky sessions, and offer honest guidance as you build your own practice, helping new practitioners avoid common mistakes in those uncertain first few months
  • A certification that actually means something: Your accreditation gives you worldwide credibility to teach and practice almost anywhere. We built our accreditation process around genuine standards, not shortcuts, so employers and clients can trust exactly what your certificate represents
  • Lifetime access to learning: Graduation marks the beginning of an ongoing learning relationship, not the end. You gain continued access to our teaching community, updated resources, and refresher content as sound healing practice evolves, and many graduates return for advanced levels or workshops.

Why Demand for Sound Healers Is Growing Worldwide

  • As the world grows more stressed, more people are turning to natural, alternative ways to relax.
  • People are not looking for an instant fix, just a tool to help them pause and reconnect with themselves.
  • Rising interest through social media, retreats, and referrals is creating real opportunity for trained practitioners
  • Growing demand means trained practitioners are increasingly needed to guide safe, structured, meaningful sound sessions

What is Sound Healing?

  • Sound healing is a process that uses vibration and tone to restore balance to the body and mind, through instruments such as the human voice, singing bowls, tuning forks, and gongs, all producing sound waves that can be felt as much as heard
  • This is no new trick, resonant bowls, drums, and chanting were used thousands of years ago for healing and ritual across ancient cultures, including Tibet, India, Egypt, and Greece
  • Over time, sound healing has been treated as a channel to body, mind, and spirit, and this understanding still shapes how  it is taught and practiced today
  • The essence of sound healing is simple physics, everything around us, including our bodies, vibrates at its own frequency
  • The vibration from a singing bowl or gong creates sound waves that radiate both into the air and into the body
  • This is the process known as resonance: vibrations causing a nearby object of matching frequency to vibrate too
  • Practitioners believe particular tones can help shift the body from a tense state toward a calmer one, drawing breathing, heartbeat, and muscle tone toward a steadier rhythm
  • Sound can reach the brain and nervous system well before we consciously register it
  • Slow, steady tones are generally associated with reduced mental activity and less churning thought
  • Many people notice their shoulders drop and their breathing slow within minutes of starting a session
  • This shift from a stressed state to a relaxed one is central to why sound healing is becoming more popular amid the stress and mental noise of modern life
  • Now used well beyond ashrams and temples, a standard offering at wellness centers
  • Some hospitals and clinics incorporate sound-based relaxation into their broader program of hospital comfort, alongside regular treatment
  • Yoga practitioners use singing bowls to close sessions with a brief sound bath, and meditation teachers use them to help students settle in faster at the start of a session
  • Also common in spas, corporate wellness programs, and wellness centers, where clients respond well to the sensory experience as part of a self-care routine

Science Behind Sound Healing

  • Interest in sound healing has grown steadily over the past few years, and research has started to look closely at the real effects of sound and vibration on the human body
  • It is important to state this clearly from the outset: sound healing is not a medical therapy, and it is not a cure for any type of disease
  • Rather,  it is increasingly gaining ground as a form of relaxation and wellbeing that can support people’s daily emotional states
  • Current preliminary studies show good outcomes in specific areas, but this remains a continuous learning process
  • The more students understand what the science actually demonstrates, the more accurately they can teach, never overstating the science or claiming outcomes the evidence does not support
  • Several small studies have looked at the role sound baths play in reducing stress and improving mood for average, everyday participants
  • Subjects frequently report a more relaxed attitude, noticeable reductions in stress, and some emotional release
  • Research into physical effects, such as heart rate, has shown a slight slowing during and immediately after sound sessions
  • Results vary and sample sizes are often limited, but the early findings point toward a real, measurable dip in stress for many participants
  • Researchers are also curious about sound’s effect on brainwave activity across the length of a session
  • Low, repetitive frequencies are thought to nudge brainwave patterns toward rest and light meditative states
  • This is typically associated with the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) nervous system, which slows heart rate and supports digestion and recovery
  • Once this system activates, the body settles into deep relaxation, the true, felt experience of a well-guided, properly structured sound session
  • Existing studies show that, for many people, structured sessions provide real relaxation, calm, and reduced daily stress
  • Most studies remain small, and researchers broadly agree that larger, controlled studies are needed before any blanket medical conclusions can be drawn
  • The responsibility of the educator is to present sound healing as a complementary wellness choice, not a definitive solution to anxiety, pain, or illness
  • This honesty is what builds real, trusted value for students and future clients

At this stage of the research, sound healing is best understood as a complementary therapeutic practice, one that fits alongside a person’s medical care, rather than acting as the primary or only mode of treatment. It is useful for relaxation, managing everyday stress, and as part of a broader self-care routine. Anyone managing an established medical or mental health condition should continue their existing treatment plan, using sound healing as a supportive, energetically complementary addition rather than a replacement. Understanding this balance is a key part of being a responsible, trustworthy, and effective practitioner in the real world.

Benefits of Learning Sound Healing

Long before you lead someone else through a session, you are giving yourself a real stress-relieving tool. Once you learn to play singing bowls and gongs and use basic breathing, you have a built-in reset button to reach for whenever daily pressure from work, family, and constant notifications builds up
True deep relaxation is hard to reach, especially at the end of a long day. You will learn in depth how to build a session that gently moves someone from tension to real stillness, a skill that serves your own nervous system as much as your client’s
A calm nervous system sleeps more easily. You will learn specific breathing techniques and meditation methods to quiet mental noise, two of the most common reasons people struggle to sleep, and go on to help clients wind down using gentle sound sequences
Sound gives people a nonverbal way to process emotions that are hard to put into words. In training, you will learn how to use vibration to release tension, which is especially meaningful for those working through grief or anxiety
Most students gain real insight into themselves through this diploma. Over time, patterns of stress response and emotional reaction shift, and graduates often report feeling more relaxed, self-aware, and at ease in their own skin
After certification, you will know how to read a room, choose the right instrument at the right moment, and guide people from tension to calm, while staying ethical, safety-conscious, and attentive to how your client feels throughout the session

What You Will Learn

Every healer starts with the why before the how. You will learn how sound travels as a wave through water, bone, and tissue, and how your body resonates with certain frequencies before your mind even registers them. This covers the history of “sound as medicine,” from Himalayan monasteries to modern sound labs, and the science behind entrainment, your brainwaves gradually syncing with a steady sound. It is the foundation that makes every bowl you play afterward mean something
Knowledge only counts once it reaches the hands. This is real playing experience every day, not watching videos: you will strike, grip, and listen, adjusting angle and tempo until it becomes clean and steady, with your teacher correcting you as you go rather than only at the end
A protocol is simply a sequence, a set procedure for moving someone from tension to ease. You will learn ready-to-use sequences for calming the nervous system, easing a tight shoulder, settling a room before sleep, and clearing stagnation, each explained step by step and practiced with a partner
Sound healing engages with the subtle energy beneath muscle and skin that most of us never notice. You will study the 7 chakras, their positioning in the body, and how each responds to a different tone or bowl, along with learning to sense energy blockage with your hands and ears, not your imagination
Passion pays the mind, and a plan pays the bills. You will learn how to price your services fairly, how to talk to a client before their first appointment, and how healers build repeat clients without feeling like a salesperson, along with the basic ethics of what to promise and when to refer someone to a doctor instead

Why Learn Sound Healing in Rishikesh?

A City With a Healing History

Set at the foot of the Himalayas on the banks of the sacred Ganges, Rishikesh has been a place of spiritual learning and wisdom for thousands of years. Sages and seekers have used it as a home for meditation, yoga, chanting, and inner discipline since ancient times, and this long history can be felt throughout the daily life of the whole town, not only by curious travelers. Studying sound healing here means learning in the same tradition that shaped these practices long before the rest of the world discovered them.

The Yoga Capital of the World

Known as the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh attracts students, teachers, and healers from across the globe year-round. This reputation was not marketed, it was built over decades, by generation after generation of dedicated teachers choosing to live, teach, and practice here. As a student, you train inside a real wellness community, supported by seasoned instructors and invested peers, in a setting where learning comes easily from your first day in town.

A Spiritual Environment Built for Deep Learning

The spiritual atmosphere of Rishikesh makes it easier to focus and stay still, in a way that is simply not possible in a busy, noisy city. Mornings begin with the sound of temple bells and the river, setting a feeling of calm before training even starts. This makes it easier to absorb new techniques and stay present through extended daily practice. Many students say that nothing compares to learning in this environment, hour after hour.

Professional Diploma in Gong Mastery

An International Community of Seekers and Healers

Each class brings together students from dozens of countries, so you are training inside an international community centered on a shared passion for healing. You are surrounded by people from different backgrounds and cultures who add depth to the practice through their own experiences and questions. Many of these connections outlast the course itself, unfolding into a worldwide peer network, wherever you end up practicing, urban or rural, clinic or studio, you are never building your career alone.

Authentic Tradition, Not a Watered-Down Version

Studying in Rishikesh means learning at the source, with yogis who live this practice daily, not simply as it is written in books. This authenticity is part of why training here is so different from a six-hour course learned through a brief video. Years of hands-on experience, direct mentorship, and personal practice sit behind every lesson, giving your future clients real, sustainable confidence in your skill.

Accommodation & Student Experience

  • Where you will stay: At our forest ashram outside Rishikesh, rooms are kept simple and clean, meant for proper rest rather than luxury. Every room has its own bed and warm blankets for the Himalayan nights, with just enough quiet for birds to sing outside your window in the morning
  • Meals and nutrition: Meals are sattvik and vegetarian, prepared daily from simple, local ingredients suited to the deep inner work of the course. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner run at fixed times to establish a natural rhythm to the day, with gluten-free and vegan options available on request. Many students notice by day two or three that the food itself has shifted their mood
  • Life on campus: The campus sits among the trees, a step away from the Ganges and close to the forest, away from the congestion, traffic, and noise of central Rishikesh. Training happens in an open-sided hall where sound can settle and fall naturally, more important than you would think when working with vibration. The grounds offer space for walking, sitting by the river, or resting in the shade between sessions
  • Safety and comfort: Safety is taken seriously, the ashram controls entry, keeps staff available at all times, and has medical protocols in place along with a network of nearby clinics for anything beyond first aid. Female students have their own guarded accommodation area, and staff are briefed on supporting the many women who travel here alone

Meet YogShri Prakashananda Himalayan Spiritual Master

Guru ji Yogshri Prakashananda was born in 1984 in Rishikesh, amidst the Himalayas, into a modest family practicing Nada Yoga (AKA Surat Shabad Yoga). He was not a standout student, but there was always something in him listening for a deeper sound. He was formally initiated by his Guru into Nada Yoga on 28 Feb 2011, and within the year he started learning Kids Brain Activation using Sound Healing and brought this art to the UAE; later, he learned instruments like Singing Bowls, Gongs and Tuning Forks. He dedicated himself to learning Yoga and Vedanta at Swami Sivananda Ashram from 2015 to 2017. That circle grew into the YogShri Healing Institute, and in 2017, he founded the forest ashram outside Rishikesh where all of this teaching now takes place. He is the author of the book Stop Meditation Start Living and has established Yogshri Sound Healing Training & Research Institute in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India.

Years of Experience, Hundreds of Students

With Yogshri, students from 42 countries have trained in singing bowls and gongs, chakra balancing, and the older, quieter practice of Nada healing. He has sat with people carrying grief, anxiety, chronic pain, and burnout, and watched sound do what words could not. His knowledge is not book-learned; it comes from thousands of hours in the room, working with real students in a forest, with no shortcuts.

YogShri Himalayan Spiritual Master

His Mission

Guru ji Yogshri’s mission is simple, to help 1 million people find some peace, and train enough healers that this peace can reach further than he could alone. Early in his career, he noticed something: people who came to him for healing kept coming back for more, rather than learning to hold that peace themselves. That realization was a turning point, he now focuses on training independent healers rather than creating repeat visitors.

His Teaching Philosophy

Guru ji Yogshri does not believe in enforcing a rigid checklist of instruments on students. He teaches slowly and corrects gently, helping students grasp the “how” and understand why a technique works, rather than just learning it by rote. He keeps classes small so he can see every player’s hands and hear every stroke on the bowl, and give feedback that is genuinely useful. For Jetan, sound healing is not an act, he takes the responsibility seriously and passes that seriousness on to his students.

Career Opportunities

Unlike a certificate you stow away in a drawer, a diploma gained from YogShri Healing is a collection of actual working routes that guide you toward a sustainable practice, and the majority of graduates wind up using two or more of these routes.

  • Start a private practice: The most common path. Most graduates run one-on-one sessions from home or a re-tuned room, working with clients on stress, sleep, chronic pain, and emotional blocks. This requires minimal start-up cost and lets you build a client base gradually
  • Lead sessions at retreats: A natural next step for many. Sound healers are regularly sought after for evening sessions or full-day workshops at wellness retreats across India and beyond, with retreats often bringing repeat bookings.
  • Corporate wellness programs: A newer, fast-growing area. Companies run sound healing sessions to relieve employee stress, often on wellness days or team offsites, typically at a better pay rate than one-on-one client work, sometimes leading to ongoing contracts.
  • Build an online sound healing business: Reach clients you would never meet in person through recorded sound baths, live virtual classes, and online courses. Many graduates start here, since it requires minimal investment beyond your instruments and a good microphone.

Either way, do not wait until the seats are gone to decide whether this matters to you.

Real Experiences from Our Community

Every class at YogShri Healing carries its own set of stories, and most graduates would say that learning to play an instrument was only part of it, the rest was learning to trust their own hands to help heal another person. Students often describe arriving with doubts about whether they are “spiritual enough,” and leaving with a quiet assurance that came only from genuine practice, not theory.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Yes. Most of our students arrive with no prior knowledge or training in sound healing. We cover the foundational aspects of what sound healing is, why it works on the body, and how each instrument responds, before it is ever touched. The pace is designed with a beginner in mind, and by mid-term you will be running short sets on your own. If you are nervous about starting from scratch, this course is still for you.
Yes, our certification is recognized by global wellness organizations, so it holds weight whether you take your practice abroad or stay in India. When you finish the course, you will have a certificate confirming your training in sound healing techniques and session facilitation. Many students use this certificate to enrich an existing yoga or wellness practice.
Many graduates do this. You will be able to conduct your own complete sound healing session from start to finish and will have mastered the essential skill of sound healing needed to engage with clients. Some of the students go so far as to offer private lessons, some perform in wellness centers or yoga studios, and some facilitate a small sound bath practice at home. We also walk you through practical issues, such as setting up a session, the rate to charge, and how to get a new person started in the practice. From there on, the growth is yours.
Yes, singing bowls are essential to this course. You will be taught correct striking and rimming technique, how sound changes under pressure and speed, and how various bowls affect the body, all through direct practice rather than theory.

Yes, upon successful completion of the course and its assignments, you will receive a Sound Healing Level 1 Certification, which qualifies you to begin offering sound healing at a foundational level.

Of course, it is included in the course fees. You will be residing near our training in Tapovan, Rishikesh, in a simple and clean room where you can rest and even contemplate some quiet time after your training. With the thorough physical and mental engagement that comes with sound healing training, it is nice to have a peaceful spot to unwind after a long day. If you want to stay in a private room rather than a room with another student, please inform us at the time of booking, and we will check availability on the dates requested.
Essentials are comfortable clothing for sitting and moving around in, a notebook for practicing notes, and an open mind. Even though the days can be good in Rishikesh, its evenings tend to get cold. There is no requirement to bring any instruments to the class, we will have instruments provided for you to work on in class. If you already have a singing bowl or tuning fork on hand and want to use that, feel free, but you do not need to provide any. A comprehensive checklist will be sent once you are confirmed in the seat.
There are no prerequisites for sound healing, yoga, or making music. The course is designed for the individual, we have taught complete beginners, working yoga teachers, and musicians. The quality of prior experience is based more on practicing and maintaining your focus throughout the sessions than on prior experience itself. That is okay if you have never held a singing bowl before, most of our students have not at this stage either, prior to walking through our doors.
Very much so. Yoga naturally resonates with sound healing, and many yoga teachers come along with us to bring the healing power of sound to their practice. You will learn how to layer sounds into a savasana, meditation, or restorative class so that your students experience something deeper, without altering the way you already teach. Many former students now teach yoga with music at home, whether through RYT certification or by simply being proficient in this one area. Sound work tends to come more easily to those who already practice breath and stillness as part of their yoga.
We deliberately keep batches small, typically no more than 15 students. Sound healing is a skill that needs practice, and it is difficult to master in a jam-packed space where time on the instrument is limited. With fewer participants, our trainers can give feedback right on the spot, answer questions as they come up, and make sure you actually take home a working understanding of how to run a session, something we could not guarantee with a large class size. This personal attention is one of the main reasons students choose us over larger schools.
You are not left alone after graduation. We are available to answer questions about session structure and client management as they come up, and we pass along opportunities when they arise. Many alumni also stay in touch to support one another, we would rather you carry on with sound healing than stop at the certificate.
In Level 1, you are equipped with the foundation to use basic sound healing techniques and incorporate sound work into yoga, meditation, and other practices. A lot of students begin simple sessions immediately after Level 1. Yet Level 2 continues this process with more complex techniques and session structures, and is the expectation of most working practitioners aiming for a richer teaching practice. If you want to be an educator first and foremost, feel free to pursue both levels rather than stopping at one.
Yes. Once you are part of YogShri, that connection does not end when the course does. Graduates reach out years later with technique questions, and we do our best to help. It is not a one-time exchange, many long-term students return for advanced workshops or simply to reconnect with the community here in Rishikesh.

While one can learn the theory of sound healing online, sound healing is a skill that is felt. You must hear the actual sound of a bowl in a room, feel the way the vibration is traveling through your body, and receive immediate feedback when your technique is incorrect, none of this fits all the way through a screen. There are other benefits which come from in-person training too: you are getting training in Rishikesh, the very same environment in which such practice is a fundamental part, from the same people who live and teach here, surrounded by the same culture, tradition, food, and environment they take in. When our students have been asked what enabled them to truly master a skill, the answer they consistently give is the hours spent in person.

Yes, meals are included in the cost of your course. Simple, vegetarian food is available throughout the day, prepared with care. Let us know about dietary requirements such as vegan or gluten-free in advance, food matters more than it sounds once you are training from early morning until late at night.
Yes, we do offer pickup from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, or Haridwar Railway Station, which is easily connected to Rishikesh. Simply share your travel information with us before you travel, and we will plan accordingly. Usually, this service will carry an extra charge; we will confirm this with you prior to travel. A few of our students tend to get a bit anxious on the first day as they are unaware of the way they should conduct themselves in Rishikesh, so having someone meet them at the airport goes a long way toward eliminating that worry.
The advance you put up gets you your seat and is typically non-refundable, as it is reserved for you only. We try to honor reasonable notice for cancellations before the course begins, but do not generally cancel a course if someone wishes to put their advance toward another one in the year. We know that plans can change, we would prefer to reschedule rather than just say no, so please contact us directly if you have any plans to change, and we will explain the next steps in the scheduling specific to you.
Yes, entirely in English. Our trainers are experienced with international students and keep the language simple. If English is not your first language, know that many past students have been in the same position and managed comfortably.
Students choose numerous paths following this course. Independent sound healers provide private or group sound baths. Others bring sound healing into an existing career, like yoga teaching, massage therapy, or counseling, as an added skill for their clients. A few end up working with wellness resorts, retreat centers, or spas that are increasingly looking to add sound therapy to their offerings. What you build from here really depends on what you already do and what direction interests you most.
We know travel and minor health conditions might cause delays. If you miss a session, our trainers will help you catch up during practice hours so you are not left behind on any technique. That said, attendance matters for certification, since sound healing is a skill built through hands-on repetition, not something you can fully make up by reading notes later. If you know in advance you might miss a class, let us know so we can plan around it together.
There is no strict upper age limit, we have had students in their twenties training alongside students in their sixties. What matters more is genuine interest and the physical ability to sit comfortably through sessions. For younger students, we recommend being at least 18, given the independent travel involved.
Yes, and many students do, either right away or after a gap to practice independently first. Level 2 builds directly on Level 1, so completing the first level with us is all you need to qualify. Either approach works, and we can guide you on timing based on where you are at.
